Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo

I'm sure most of you will have used, or at least heard of, the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I have been using this dry shampoo for a few years and have never felt the need to even try many other ones.

I tend to only wash my hair every second day otherwise it becomes very oily and unpleasant looking. Unfortunately, my second day hair is not very pleasant looking either so a good dry shampoo is a must have for me. I find that the Batiste dry shampoo does exactly what I need. It only takes a small amount to make my hair look and feel fresh while other dry shampoos that I have tried have left me looking like I have very bad dandruff as it took a lot of product to receive a good result.

Batiste dry shampoo comes in a range of scents, all of which smell amazing. I find myself having to buy a different scent each time as I can't decide on which scent I like best. The scents picture are Blush and Diva, two very nice but quite different scents. Blush, one of my favourite scents, is a very girly, floral scent while Diva is a more sophisticated, spicy scent.

Batiste dry shampoo is one of my holy grail products which will not be replaced any time soon.

Another Update...

Hello :)

I realise that I have been such a bad blogger recently that I couldn't even keep up with the LOTD series. In all honesty, I didn't really enjoy writing those posts as I didn't feel like they were very interesting to read so I have decided to give up on that series.

However, I have almost all of the next week free and a lot of that time will be spent on this blog so expect normal service to resume. If you have any specific blog posts that you would like to see, please leave me a comment below.

A few days ago while browsing Pinterest I came across this inspirational quote.

"The trick is to enjoy life. Don't wish away your days waiting for better ones ahead". 

I like this quote as it is a more poetic version of 'live life to the fullest' and encourages you to make the most of every day .

Thursday LOTD: Ebay (1)

I've been on the search for a new phone case recently and Ebay seems to be the only place to find one for under £20. My boyfriends sister recently bought a gorgeous phone case on Ebay and while searching for a similar one I came across this beautiful Minnie Mouse Diamante Iphone Cover. It looks so pretty and at £3.99 it is far cheaper than any other phone case I have bought.

Wednesday LOTD: Book (1)

Recently, one of my favourite bloggers Louise, Sprinkle of Glitter, started a new LOTD (Love of the Day) Series and I thought I would give it a go.

On Wednesday the theme is Book.


The book I have chosen for today is a book, primarily aimed at children, called Girl, Missing. I first read this book in school and I really enjoyed it. For that reason, when I recently saw the book in a charity shop for just 99p I had to buy it and read it again. I finished reading it for the second time last week and it was just as good as the first time.

Recently, one of my favourite bloggers Louise, Sprinkle of Glitter, started a now LOTD (Love of the Day) Series and I thought I would give it a go.

On Tuesday the theme is Blog Post.



The blog post I have chosen to share is a recipe which Khila, Miss Budget Beauty, posted on her cooking blog. It is a recipe for Incredibly Yummy Cookies. I tried this recipe out a few days ago, blog post coming soon, and made loads of cookies for mine and my boyfriends family. They went down an absolute treat with both families and I have even been asked to make them again for my boyfriends dad's birthday!

Monday LOTD: Clothes (1)

Hey :)

I know, I know! I've been a very bad blogger yet again this week but I've been so busy I haven't even been near a computer since I last posted to update you all.

Today, while catching up on all that I have missed recently, I noticed that Louise, Sprinkle of Glitter, has started a new LOTD (Love of the Day) series and I thought I would give it a go.

On Monday the theme is Clothes.



I have been obsessed with H&M recently so I have chosen this gorgeous Blue Floral Strapless Dress which is currently on sale for just £14.99. I love how girly and summery it is and I am very tempted to snatch it up for a wedding in August, it would be perfect!
